Modern, spotlessly clean, small kitchen included, great cooked breakfast, friendly staff. Mattresses are absolutely top notch. Enjoyed my stay. Cooked breakfast no longer provided.

Arrived about 6pm ish no one in the reception,
rooms ok restaurant on site not open due to lack of staff. Headed into Girvan for breakfast breakfast lunch lunch dinner dinner say no more

My elderly friend & i arrived at Woodland Bay Hotel to stay for 4nights , It is NOT a hotel & has no right to call itself such ! The room was very clean & well equiped but far more suitable for one night if you are a travelling salesman , we dont drive so we had to rely on other people .We left one day early as we couldnt stay somewhere that didn't supply food ( which they do advertise on line ) no refund was offered at all pretty bad as their on line pictures are guilty of misleading people . An unusual hotel, in that the bedrooms were all self-contained with kitchen/TV area/bathroom/bed together. (no restaurant/bar etc)
Breakfast provided in the room, enough for your stay, but no problem to ask for more. Variety of cereals, croissants, yoghurts, cheese, ham, biscuits, bottled water, milk...
Beautiful location by the sea. Convenient for going to/from Cairnryan or exploring the area.

No complaints about this place, was clean, modern, and they had thought of everything. Add a friendly and courteous reception and I would definitely stay again. Recommended.

Was only a one night, but very welcoming, but as a self catering, there was no table to sit at.... continental breakfast was good

This was a super spot for our trip to The Open in Troon. We were very kindly upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment which had everything we needed. We very much appreciated the continental breakfast and enjoyed the hot tub. Thanks for great hosting.

Ideal for a wee getaway,or overnight.Great rooms and spacious.Dog freindly with a dog cage in the room if you wanted to pop out.Beach right across the road,ideal for walks.

I always look forward to staying here before my long route to Glenlivet to visit my elderly parents, and stay again before heading back to Cairnryan to catch my ferry back to Ireland. All the staff are welcoming and rooms excellent.

Great base for exploring Ayrshire and South West Scotland. Dog friendly spacious rooms with kitchen facilities.

This was the most relaxing vacation I've had in a hotel in over 40 years! The service was more than outstanding the breakfast was equally excellent as a matter of fact it was unparalleled in anything that I've had except a five-star hotel. Everything was perfect! The owner Michael is a very friendly man the setting is beautiful green Hillside livestock grazing nearby the ocean just steps away! I could go on for 10 more paragraphs and not do this wonderful Hotel Justice!

A lovely hotel. Very well equipped room which was immaculately clean. Good location, a pleasant walk along the seafront into Girvan. Friendly staff. Service and food in the restaurant were excellent. We had both breakfast and dinner and were very impressed. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel and restaurant.

Great hotel. Had a few mishaps at the restaurant (like the menu not stating that the garlic mushrooms came with bacon so therefore wasn't vegetarian) but Katie the waitress was amazing - thank you Katie!

Great place Great staff nothing is a problem for them very helpful and a breakfast to DIY for also staff in restaurant very friendly and nothing is to much for them very rooms first class and spotless will be back Great value for money .

Warm friendly welcome at check in. Great modern rooms, nice clean & well appointed bathroom& shower. Great view over to Girvan and Arran.
Awesome breakfast & warm welcoming staff in the restaurant. Great location, great value.
